Shell, AEMO, SolarEdge and others about a technical metering issue. The deployment of EWC isn't really a focus as the actual issue relates to granularity of metering equipment, and a disagreement about cost to implement a solution.
EWC is a good way to facilitate the system but it's more about equipment and cost barriers.
SolarEdge was quoted saying that one metering point is enough for 1 MWh aggregated capacity. Maybe with their VPP they would communicate the aggregated deployment from their inverters?
I liked the point from the metering company that costs are not prohibitive at this stage
