? In the case of rsr it is a smart contract based on ethereum.
A mainnet would be to moove the contracts to his own chain ?

Hey there, O P! When people say "mainnet launch" in the Reserve community, they are referring to the launch of the full Reserve protocol on the Ethereum mainnet. So you're right that we use the term differently than how projects building a blockchain use it. It is more like an "official launch of the protocol".
