Why can't we organize it that this is our onboarding

channel and discuss such "issues" in eosgov or somewhere else where we don't need to onboard new users?

@Aztek_btc has the power if I understood it correctly

I suppose the reverse could be said as well - maybe there's a need for a more heavily moderated channel for welcoming. I tried that, scammers infiltrated and impersonated me, and had to shut it down. I don't think Telegram should be that place anymore. It needs a more controlled environment, which is why we have forums.

Yes I agree. I say this only because https://t.me/EOSproject is linked everywhere and people are redirected here. The best actually would be if we just can change the link in CMC, coingecko, wiki, everipedia and everywhere else, remove this telegram channel and change it to EOSsupport.io and/or Discord

The eoscommunty.org forums and the new eos discord is a much better landing page for new users. They will only find themselves feeling like victims coming here and listening to this gong show

If forums are used and shared correctly across channels, the informational searches will drive new user acquisition just fine. All these amateurs freaking out about open discussion in TG is laughable. Focusing on making top of the funnel forum topics and Reddit rank should be job #1. But those same people being paid are wasting the money chasing down people they disagree with on TG. 🤣 Very few legitimate new users come trough this channel. Half or more are bots or scammers.
