the Reserve team in terms of marketing? I know you guys are quite conservative and I like it that way but how hard do you plan to go on a scale between 0 and crypto.com?
Hello Mang - it depends on what "marketing" means to you. That might sounds like a weird question, but for us marketing could mean (a) billboards in Venezuela to promote the app, (b) business development to exchanges, protocols, wallets to get our stablecoin(s) listed, (c) doing a lot of podcasts/interviews with journalists/etc or (d) paying crypto influencers to shill RSR for us (we probably won't do that :) ). Any in particular you're interested in?
how about billboards in Argentina and Venezuela Like 2 billboards in 2 different countries. Is it technically possible?
Hahaha, definitely - not sure if that's the route we want to go, though. Not sure if billboards still have that much of an impact these days.
Yeah definitely not d. 😁 I know Nevin mentioned that marketing will focus on RTokens because it couldn't be seen as a pump and dump scheme (because it is a stablecoin). But I'm guessing RTokens will be marketed to the crypto space while RSV will be marketed to the Reserve app potential users. So my guess is those two marketing activities in parallel, does it sound about right?
ok. so option A is out of list. Same as option D. What we got left for marketing campaign: listing of RSV token and another one podcast and twitter AMA with Nevin. I think... it's brilliant marketing plan and it will attract millions of users
Listing RTokens on exchanges would be great but I'm not sure if it's good to do that before migrating to an L2 solution
You are right, indeed, but I'd say we even go a little further. The new stablecoin that will be released on mainnet will be marketed both to the Reserve app audience (as a "savings account" in the app) as well as the general crypto world (as a superior stablecoin to USDT, USDC, ...). So the stablecoin itself will be marketed in more ways than you've mentioned.
Billboards was a bad example, that probably set you on the wrong foot. A better example would be modern ways of marketing the use of the Reserve app, which is definitely going to happen (we're actively working on that). Think for example events where all drinks are -10% if you pay with Reserve (this is just an example from the top of my head).
Good idea, I currently use trc20 usdt to transfer between exchanges for low fees but I would prefer not to use usdt if I have the option.
Exactly - I already immediately switch from USDT to USDC after trades at the moment. But soon I'll switch to the new Reserve stablecoin (as it's a better alternative in my opinion).
