try at a minimum to stake either enough length or enough hex for 1 t share per stake. My plan save up and do that. From 10 years to 1. Do you think that’s solid? It will take some time to save up for each stake so it would probably be over a 6 month period or should I stake less .5 t shares or less and get my stakes going soon for the ladder?
@hex_is_the_way
year 15 14 13 12 11 and 10 is where the tshares are the cheapest. You pay about 6560 hex for 1 tshare and the yield will be very nice. You will outlast many stakers. If you are 60 or younger, a 15 year stake is very attractive. I agree to start building the longest dated stakes first, also I would not put all your ladder in one wallet do to safety concerns.
I would stick with 1 tshare @10 -15 years because it is easy to calculate your gains as they are reported in payout per tshare. You can do the basic math in your head
Thank you. I got some with to do
then you can build ladder earlier. You could have one stake at about 5 year, 10 year, 15 year, 3 tshares for about 20k hex
So not every year for now and I can fill in as time goes on
yes! 5 year can endstake in 2.5 years in emergency, and 10 year in 5 years, so it gives you some flexibility. Having a 3 year is good too, but I would start with the longer few first
I got 10 year already. I was being optimistic and 15 years seemed like a lot I should have done that first
building a retirement is impossible for most people in a day
So you're saying a 15 year stake is optimum
Well at a set price of 6700 Hex 1 and some change worth of t shares is accrued over 10 year you increase to 15 it doesn’t change the t share amount but it does increase the over all yield of interest for 5 more years. The more t shares you have the higher interest you can accrue with that set amount of hex. Or more that was just my example
“The longer you stake and the more you stake gives two bonus’” shown on the hex stake page when imputing your desired request
Longer pays better and more pays better
