When telling people about hex, what's a good way to

explain how hex get's it's value? Most people can't grasp "hex monetizes time". Even if you explain it's a CD... any thoughts on a better easier way to explain? I always struggle with that question without going into a long rant about how markets work. Just looking for something simple

I try to get this through to people. I tell them that staked Hex pays interest in Hex not the $ value. So no matter what price Hex is, weather the $ value is up or down it is making you Hex. So, when the $ value of Hex goes up you have way more money than you would have if not staked as well as the very realistic potential for huge gains in the $ value. I feel I’m rambling on a bit but that’s what I try to portray
