If I used the old MEW method to store EWT,

using a Ledger, is there any way of accessing that at the staking site? I think the old way used a different path.

You can stake your EWT through your Metamask desktop wallet! You cannot stake with Hardwallets like: Ledger, Trezor (even if those are connected with Metamask) Only Directly send your founds to a Metamask Wallet and stake them. Why only through Metamask? Because as of right now Ledger and Trezor doesn’t support the DID onboarding (for now). because we leveraged Metamask signatures to use for DID signing and verification. Why only through Metamask Desktop wallet? Coebar: “You need to use metamask desktop wallet, The reason is because we leveraged metamask signatures to use for DID signing and verification. That’s not implemented in the mobile version.” Staking through Hardwallets and Exchanges will come in a near future! There are a lot more new stuff coming in on the Second Phase of Energy Web Staking. Ok. So I should create a new metamask account for EWT and then send the funds from MEW, through the Ledger, to this new metamask account. Of course, exporting the Private Key should recovery be needed.

That is actually not recommended by team, it would be better to just create a new Metamask and stake from there
