+For true achievement of scalable multi-chain interoperability, there needs to

be a Layer 0 that gives developers a framework and “tools that abstract away blockchains, [and} users only need to think about what application they are interacting with”.

+A key goal of RenVM and RenLabs is reducing friction for developers and users, which can unleash growth of communities, assets and projects in orders of magnitudes compared to current growth in a fractured/siloed single-chain environment.

+Through Ren Labs, the team is building projects such as Catalog, a cross-chain AMM. Catalog is not aiming to replace liquidity pools, rather “extend” liquidity existing in other chains. 🤯

+Since assets would live on the Layer 0 (RenVM), users will be able to move their assets to different chains with wallets powered by RenVM 🤯⚡️ Users will be able to move assets supported by Ren for a frictionless multi-chain experience🔥

+Transactions can be executed on the Layer 0 (RenVM), requiring zero gas, as the assets would be living on-chain already 🔥 , and for the off-chain part of the transaction gets charged accordingly it is abstracted away in the price (ie. ETH transaction would require some gas, as it would be executed on the ETH chain).

What does all this mean? In essence, by using RenVM, users would be able to control from only one wallet and in one transaction all of their transactions across chains & assets that Ren supports.

So far Ren support (or has announced incoming support) for many assets, including: BTC, ETH, LUNA, FTM, CRV, BUSD, SOL, ROOK, MIM, DAI, DGB, LINK, BADGER, USDC, USDT, EURT, KNC, FIL, UNI, ans several more in this first batch announced. This alone is an extremely promising and a transformative improvement for the user experience and developers looking to scale their communities, reach and impact across chains.


Personal conclusions:

I’ve never been more bullish on Ren, and I am not uncertain on the blockbuster years for Ren’s volume, token appreciation and overall market penetration.

Why? Because one of RenVM’s core value proposition for builders is that it helps provide a simple and intuitive user interface when incorporated by projects of any supported chain. It allows creators to not limit their communities to only one chain. 🔥 💯 🙌

Think of it this way: RenVM is positioning itself as the Sun of the multichain universe, that through the invisible force of gravity (trustless, decentralized, interoperability) will help create harmony and predictable patterns of communication (rotations) of all emerging planets in the emerging multi-chain universe.



Post Script 1:
The “Powered by RenVM” mantra embodies a positive sum game. When playing this type of game, the amount of value that can be created is limitless, incredibly bullish for the multichain universe, and a net positive for users and developers alike.

In contrast, zero sum games, preferring only some chains, or using intermediary coins to help move assets across ( a la Thorchain style), increases the likelihood of ensuring there will be losers and capping value creation for participants in the cypto landscapes, which are often the users and the potential growth of communities.

Positive sum game= value can be created on it can be limitless
Zero-sum game= there will be losers and value creation will eventually stop for one or more participants in that game

Post Script 2:
For Ren community members not running Darknodes (currently 100K tokens are needed per node), but looking to stake whatever Ren token amount they have for yield, once the staking pools are live to run darknodes, it will offer an amazing opportunity to help power the gravity of the Layer 0 that RenVM has become. In my analysis above, with the premises I mentioned, I am also bullish on folks looking to run darknodes but join pooling/staking services if they don’t have enough tokens. All these efforts will only strengthen the network even more, and all participants will stand to gain once TVT increases.
