except for those with a burn and mint function.

@Ruzo11
Dunno which erc20s will be supported out of the gate.
my question is e.g. sand is an erc20 coin he will automatically be there on january / february because ren supports erc20 tokens. or would we have to choose the coin as conmunity for the white listing so that it is in the ren bridge? @MaxRoszko
I don't think every erc20 will be supported. See the forum regarding the whitelisting process. Security reasons.
yes I know that. but my question is whether every erc20 token that is supported comes individually into the ren bridge and only takes place through the whitelisting !? at the beginning that should only be 5 tokens per month. that would mean that it takes a long time until the important erc20 tokens are integrated. that the erc20 token supports the ren are all available with h2h and only the tokens like sol / dot / near are a bit more difficult and have to be added individually ?
No, a token has to be whitelisted to be added to RenBridge, because there are a lot of contract deployments needed to support a new token. So the whitelisting process is like a system to prioritize which ones are added first
Hi Max, what's the process for adding a new L1 network? Does it have to go through the same process?
OK. thank you is called a coin that may be important for me but does not bring that much volume at the moment it will not come so quickly at first. because if I understood correctly there are only 5 new coins per month regardless of whether erc20 or spl or others that are supported by ren?
L1s can't go through the same process because it's much more complex. The Ren core team will continue add all the biggest platforms for now, and in the future I think it might work like if the Ren DAO really wants some specific L1 integrated, it can offer a bounty that Ren Labs could pursue, or some other third-party devs do it
It might not be 5 per month, it's just an arbitrary number for now we will try out, and then if the onboarding process could be sped up from a technical standpoint, maybe more tokens could be added in one batch
Great, thanks for the quick response. There's not much benefit with onboarding it until they hit their Babylon milestone the end of this year, but I see Radix as being a perfect fit for both projects. Ren and Radix have some sort of partnership so I'm sure there have been some conversations previously.
okay so i understand correctly. It is entirely possible that certain erc20 tokens are added very quickly and many are added at once and some are more complex and therefore there are fewer? the 5 pieces can be much more than or correct if the coins are difficult?
