Im asking this because where my host will be located

is not where I live through the week and I will have access to it only a few days a month.

Should I set a raspberry pi or some old laptop next to it and access it remotely like so if necessary?

That is the intent of its design. You can get to the host control panel from the URL. From anywhere. That is where you can change your settings. But you can also run in some sort of automatic mode. If you are trying to maximize income you might have to do more fiddling. We don’t know how the pricing settings will work yet.
