Can Swipe ever change its utility token to something else

out of the blue? Or is SXP inherently essential to Swipes business operations, thus keeping SXP as their utility token is a must?

Solar is giving an additional utility to SXP. SXP isn’t changing for what it’s currently doing for Swipe.io and the current Swipe White Paper. Solar is launched by the community to give SXP its own blockchain and layer 1 utilities IN ADDITION to what’s already being offered by Swipe.io

SXP has always been used for these fee's

Binance now own Swipe the company, fully. SXP is now Solar (previously swipechain). SXP will now be it's own community project + will be used for utility fees on swipe.io eg cards

Solar Power (SXP) is used to pay for blockchain fees, payments, for staking and governance of the protocol.

Yes. Just wondering, since there is no contractual agreement necessarily. Perhaps in the past JL had some pull as a shareholder, but now, what is keeping them from dropping SXP? Only reasons I can conceive would be to be fair to their clients who may have accumulated significant SXP balances for operations, and perhaps to protect Binance’s own holdings.

Or perhaps some unique utility value proposition that SXP offers.
