Why should they do that when they're probably able to make their own solid product in a fast way and make more profit from it instead of rely on third party solutions?

The RToken platform is not live yet, so unless Reserve and PayPal have some agreement of using it while still in beta, then that won't be the case. Given the fact that the RToken platform would be very new, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Yep, exactly. We'll find out soon (this very year) if average users prefer a famous and centralized solution over an emerging but more decentralized solution

That's the cool thing about RTokens: it is way easier to create a stablecoin than how they are traditionally developed, the RToken creator can decide for themselves how the RToken generates revenue (all methods that companies like Tether, Circle, Paxos use are supported), and Reserve takes none of that revenue.

Keep in mind that PayPal's current goal is very different from Reserve's. For example, there would be no competition between the two in South-America since PayPal has purposefully stayed out of working there due to the heavy regulations.
