Introducing Decentralization Metrics for networks that Smart Stake validates in

Decentralization! decentralization! Are we decentralized enough?

It is a question that we hear so often and gets everybody charged up!

While decentralization is a huge journey for every project, takes several years of hardwork, and not everything is measurable in a tangible way, its time for a new product inspired by learnings from the networks that Smart Stake operates in.

Compare how each of the network stands out on the metrics supported. Each metric is explained in available screen guides.

The dashboard is experimental and provides a view into decentralization related metrics for chains that Smart Stake participates in as a validator and has relevant data available.
It is an early attempt and anticipated that the metrics will evolve over time based on community feedback/discussions.
The metrics presented here are not a verdict on the state of decentralization in any network and are presenting data as-is. Analyze the data all you want!!
Some of the metrics provided here have direct correlation with the degree of decentralization in the network.
At the same time, some other metrics are captured to visualize how general network usage metric may (or may not) correlate with decentralization metrics

What's next? build more metrics, finetune the existing metrics, capture/provide visualizations into how the metrics change over time.
