is not private cryptocurrency when the talk of banning and delisting of privacy currency started but now I see this 👇

“Imagine being able to spend crypto everywhere. Except without compromising your privacy or losing custody over your funds.
With #Dash you won't have to imagine for very much longer. Not much longer at all. 🤫”
What is it? Privacy currency or is not?
I don't see a conflict there. The post is hinting at an upcoming product linking Dash and traditional fiat payment systems, which makes using those fiat payments more private than only using oldschool fiat banking products alone. It's pretty exciting, actually. That doesn't make Dash a privacy coin. That term has a much stricter meaning, namely an untraceable blockchain.
But that suggest that those transactions can be traced? So then how do you send your dash without compromising privacy? I see it as either you are untraceable or you are, nothing in between. Everything else is smoke and mirrors.
Dash is a privacy coin. It has a built in, optional privacy feature based on coin join.
