to provide an inflation-resistant payment system while this product it's already working flawlessly without any on-chain operation needed, why should people need a blockchain protocol to do the same thing?
Let's just focus on the main daily usage, ignoring the staking and yield function in relation to the main goal.
How is the need of a blockchain protocol with a speculative token (RSR) going to make the daily user experience better?
