No and no. Usdl is specifically a gas token
I’m thinking an alternative mechanism that swaps lgcy to usdl for gas on the backend may come in handy.
This would allow for greater usage and make it easier for people. Technically possible as I’m sure exchanges and apps are doing that.
Yes that’s the rationale, perhaps at a premium to usdl though so it becomes a convenience fee and/or discourages using lgcy primarily for this purpose. On the other hand it adds utility to lgcy and could get people out of a sticky situation eg ran out of usdl and need to find a faucet
Well we have a faucet and 2usdl is plenty unless planning multiple transactions, which if was the case could swap before to be secure.
