To be an active validator you need to be in the top 110 validator list, to run a validator node you need 200 ROSE. To run a simple node you only need 100 ROSE. You can refer to our docs below to run a validator node https://docs.oasis.dev/general/run-a-node/set-up-your-node/run-validator
