The main thing is to make sure that the total bonded of the collator is not high and not low, somewhere in the middle, so that it does not fly out of the active set. Well, also look at the min bond at your collator to be in the top 300 delegators. if the collator does not have 300 delegators, then the min bond will be 50. when it reaches 300 delegators, the min bond can grow greatly and knock you out. https://stakeglmr.com/ https://stakemovr.com total bonded is designated as backing

Thank you. Are their any risk involved, like that I can loose all my GLMR if I choose the wrong collator or loose all the staking rewards?

the collators don't have access to your funds. and there is no slashing, the only thing that can happen is that you will simply stop receiving rewards. https://docs.moonbeam.network/learn/features/staking/

If I understand this right.. Then if I would choose a collator with less than 300 delegations, the minimum amount of GLMR staked will be 50(min bond), and because of that I might stake 70 GLMR. 5 days later, more people have chosen the same collator and the delegations is now over 300 and because of that the min bond has increased to example 100 glmr. Then I will be automatically knocked out?

yes, correct. in this case you will need to add more than min bond, or make a revoke, this process takes 2/7* days, and your funds will be returned to you. 2 for MOVR 7 for GLMR

Thanks. Is it any disadvantage to chose a high total bond, with min bond 50 if I go in with a huge amount of GLMR? So I probably don't have to worry of being knocked out

The only thing that can happen is that the collator from the waiting set can knock your collator out of the active set. Because if the collator from the waiting set has a larger total bonded, then they will swap places. But, now in the waiting set, so far there is not a single collator.

Prince- Автор вопроса

I see, so when there is more collators, the ones with the lowest total bond, will be in the waiting list?
