Wow, no. This isn't at all the case. They're seeking to know more, but the 7 hour fireside chat yesterday made it clear that they are not "asking for the community to give more support for fractally so the decision to fund it becomes easier." They are neutral at best and trying to learn more about details of the project that was just recently proposed.

well, yves was asking the question to give your elevator pitch on how fractally can be used so the idea can be sold to token holders, the more the community knows about the project like the Chinese community then the more support it has, the better chance on getting funding approval ...what I'm getting at is the word needs to spread around to discuss the concepts of the project to non english speaking communities

He was seeing if the person understood it well enough to explain it in 30 seconds because it's a complicated enough proposal that there likely aren't many people that have thoroughly thought through the impacts.
