scams are going to become a “thing” on cosmos whether we like it or not.
This has created some questions in regard to security.
Using ETH as an example: On metamask, if you grant access to a bad app, you can disconnect that app from metamask. BUT, this does not revoke a potentially malicious permission that you may have granted to a contract. Etherscan and other tools allow you to view and “revoke” any permissions that have been granted to a smart contract.
I assume it’s the same with Keplr? Where simply removing a dapp from the “manage connections” section for a cosmos chain wouldn’t necessarily revoke the permissions given to a Cosmwasm smart contract? If that’s the case, do we have any tools yet to view and revoke potentially malicious permissions?
Hi, Your request and questions have been sent to Keplr team.
Any word on this?
Thank you. Do you know if it’s being prioritized? Kinda seems important :)
Any update on this? We are seeing a exponential increase in contract interactions, signed transactions etc. I feel like we are sitting on a ticking time bomb. Getting the right tools into people’s hands will at least allow them to save any staked or pooled assets if they realized their tokens were unbonded/unstaked before the cooldown period expires.
Any updates on this?
