I wanted to ask some questions to know a little more about the project...
What would you say it is the one thing that differentiates Cosmos from Ethereum?
Does it has a "competitive advantage "in the mid/long term?
With Rollups coming to Ethereum, significantly scaling it and making for a more decentralized blockchain (specially compared to Cosmos limited validator set) wich role Cosmos will fit in the scheme of things?
Ethereum will be no more or less decentralized. Having a larger validator set changes nothing without having some way to encourage the delegation to spread around, and even then potentially all that accomplishes is one person or organization running multiple nodes
Hello, Firstly Cosmos is not one chain that can be comparable with Ethereum. Cosmos is Ecosystem of interconnected apps ! Each blockchains are specific and sovereign that have solutions for blockchains future. Evmos, Juno can be comparable with Eth. Or other Cosmos chains. Validators set is not the way to evaluate decentralization for Cosmos as I did mention each chains sovereign and have their own validators set to be decentralized.
I've heard evmos been called eth 2.5. Beat them to it. Eth is not possible to upgrade or change imo. It will just fork and break apart yet again.
You may say this. Or Eth 3.0 ! But most important part is that developments process which Evmos has big advantages of ! Sovereignty, scalability (Celestia&Evmos = Cevmos. And Interoperability IBC!
Hello, Have a look at this article and please join EVMOS community; https://evmos.blog/introducing-evmos-the-evm-compatible-hub-on-cosmos-28a722067e21 https://t.me/EvmosOrg
Can you explain for quick why evmos upgrade has failed? Is it something too difficult to code for evmos? Is that same thing happened to Thorchain last year?
It’s better to ask it to Evmos channel. Check the pinned message on the Evmos channel and read the conversations related with the issue.
