the primary wef meeting, there are tons of side conferences at the same time. This is a concentrated meeting of many of the world's most influential people. I've heard it described as the one place leaders go to connect with new ideas for that year. Why wouldn't we want to give Telos a chance to have access to that? There's a huge crypto contingent there, just not any eosio chains. Why exclude ourselves from that kind of access?
Presidents, PMs, cabinet members, etc regularly attend and have more access than you can get at any other time.
You can just bump into billionaires & luminaries and generally speak with them, at least in brief. Mark Cuban for example, is almost certain to be there. He's an investor & strategic advisor to Climate Cell which is working with Kanda Weather. I doubt Mark knows anything about Telos but if I'm there, it would be a perfect opening for me to tell him about it and the connection we already have (I'm a strategic adviser to Kanda Weather). How is that not worth exploring. I also may be speaking at a side event. I just think the opportunity for outreach and dialogue is invaluable.
I don't dispute that there may be valuable networking opportunities. That's what I was looking for. I would just hate to see, and don't want to see, Telos become partnered with groups that are not aligned to its vision but manage to talk a good game. The leaders of WEF play the long con on psy ops campaigns. That's all.
