The Neuron Wallet app on my MacOS does not connect...

I filed bug reports on this on GitHub; the CKB binaries (to download the node) are built with macOS 10.15, so if you run say 10.12, it fails. Personally, I believe the team on the CKB project could do a better job being backward compatible; other high-profile projects such as FireFox, Thunderbird and LibreOffice are supporting macOS 10.12 and forward. My best examples is Cardano Daedalus wallet (full node wallet), which also supports macOS 10.12.. So, it's possible. Its a question of effort and quality dedication. Nervos is a wonderful project, they just need to go the final mile. Cardano is a great example of a big effort in these areas.
