while the price was 32$, so I decided to move my Stop Loss order to 35$.
My stop loss order was triggered at 35$, but the trade closed negatively.
Can anybody explain me why?
Thank you in advance.
Hi. If you were completely sure about this being a short position, you were positive at 32 and 35 dollars. If you had a stop market order and this was pair with low volume/high volatility, your trigger order makes the system place a market order and if the orderbook had orders close to your entry price, then this in addition to the fees could have you negative
fees
Even if I have 150FTT in stake? Btw, the negative PnL seemed to be way too negative for just beeing fees. At least, I hope.
It will reduce your fees but they are still applicable. In your case, either it seems your explanation doesn’t cover the whole story or there is a situation going on. Submit a ticket so our team can evaluate
i agree, i would think fees wouldnt cause a loss on a +14% position greg made a good point about the possibility that the market was highly illiquid and your stop-market order could have been filled higher up the orderbook you could check your order history and the actual execution prices and we might be able to figure it out with more clarity
It's not an illiquid market at all. I opened ticket though. Let's see. Thank you guys
