Aa trustwallet support the new erc-20 token also.. Good, did not know that. I have one more doubt thou.. Since it is erc-20 means I must pay eth gas? Or the imx integration makes gas cheap??

Yes, you can store it in trustwallet. Just make sure you create a custom token and add the contract address. You will have to pay the gas fees in ETH. IMX integration makes L2 OMI which is in veve app gasless
