I just gave 5-6 people BCH at the airport and

explained everything to them.

They were blown away by how easy it was, “That’s it? It’s that simple?” and they blown away when they realized the benefits… not being tracked, low fees, instant, self custody, etc…

But every single one had SEEN the Bitcoin Cash stickers on the Island. Seen, and ignored… “Yeah, I saw those Bitcoin Cash stickers everywhere here.” But none took action on it.

This is because our marketing / branding is not answer the WHY. Instead, it’s just saying “what.” But what is not compelling. “Bitcoin Cash accepted here” is not compelling.

What we need are stickers and campigns that explain “why” bitcoin cash is accepted here. Etc. IMO. Lots to think about.

Bitcoin Cash Accepted here is preaching to the choir essentially. Targeted at people who already hold and use it. I think it’s a start though just for visibility if nothing else (yeah, I saw those stickers everywhere on the island). I completely agree that there needs to be marketing around tapping into the psychology of normal, everyday people and getting through to them the tangible benefits. Under the current climate of the bullshit that’s going on around the world, we’ve never had a better opportunity to show people why using the best electronic cash would change their lives for the better. Figuring out the magic messaging formula that will resonate is easier said than done.

If you want to display an incentive to people the sticker should read "BitcoinCash Cashback" That should get people interested, but of course this is more effort to set up.

Because everything else has grown too complicated and full of pitfalls to avoid. Bitcoin Cash is designed to work exactly like the classic blockchain that has been tested for over a decade -- it cannot possibly go wrong, and your experience will be the same as the one that started it all, uncomplicated by most of the later-arriving fancy investment footwork that it might take a course in finance to understand. It's the original design and still the fastest, easiest way into the crypto revolution with the shallowest learning curve. It's their easy way in. Wouldn't they like to be able to say they get it, because they surfed the web with Netscape, before absolutely everybody was doing it using Microsoft instead? Just a shot, use whatever you wish.
