Do you think B1 would ever contribute to this, especially financially? You guys hired all of their best devs, so maybe they can contract future development through this group?

Relying on b1 for anything is a non starter. I don't see the point of this collaboration in development, all those other eosio chains are essentially competition right, especially when eos is paying 6 out of the 8 mil required each year. We'll I know why it's been put thru because most block producers are run multiple chains so this benifits them but how does this benefit eos exactly?

What happens if there is a "feature" that one chain wants but others do not?

Does eos have a greater vote weight based on the weight of the funding then? So imagine eos wants some feature other chains do not. Does eos get out-voted even tho eos contributes the most money towards development? Maybe this issue won't come up because it seems the main goal of this is to keep all chains compatible with each other for the benefit of block producers. At least that's how I see it. If all these chains go off in their own direction then block producers will start to find it difficult to support multiple chains at once.
