Is it me or has the EWC really slowed down?

Right! Try and transfer BSV there and it took 250 blocks - over 2 days. And is a part of the kucoin policy. SO perhaps they have changed their settings.

Kucoin is still one of the few non-KYC-heavy cexes but their fees and policies seem to be getting worse

No issues with XRP, XLM. Just had some issues with Moonbeam where the transaction had complete but Kucoin wanted to wait 30 blocks or something crazy. Eth transactions have been ok actually.

No, if you send to an exchange it takes 10-15 min cause they round up the tokens from deposits adresses to their cold wallet every 15 min

Again though not a lot of tokens. Only some. Some are instant.

Depends on the exchange, but has nothing to do with the speed of the blockchain

it’s just you, the average blocktime is still around 5 seconds. The problem is most likely that the RPC node is slow to update metamask. Make sure to check transactions on the block explorer instead.
