Ok so let’s say 1000 hex on Eth at launch.

The Eth side says “1000 HEX” and is valued at that chains rate. Let’s say it’s 1$ that’s 1000$. 🍷

Then the copy on PC says “1000 HEX” same thing. and it’s valued at 5$ 🍷🍷so it says $5000.

1. No bridging was done correct? I’ll ask that after this.

2. Do I have this rocket science right so far?

yes, but prices won't be like that this year probably more like $0.369 for HEX on Eth and $0.124 for HEX on PC

no bridging just the fork

Yeah I was being cheeky with the numbers. Thank you

eventually HEX on PC will be worth more because of the cheaper transactions (ending a long stake on Eth is expensive) if PC has good adoption, which is very possible

Yeah. I see. So I wonder now what happens when we bridge in that 1000 HEX on Eth side to the PC side? This is where I’m lost.

not possible if bridge stays like it's now, only the other way around: bridging PC HEX to Ethereum results in pHEX created on Ethereum can pool with HEX (or anything else) on DEX (Uniswap) can exit to fiat through CEX = has fiat price (=value) big pool: Heart's law makes the two prices move together, like glue, lot needed to alter ratio

Ah right. Thanks man. That clears up a lot. So each copy let’s say would be staked on their respective chains. Stake my now Hex on Eth obv. And my new copy Hex stake it there on PC. No bringing one to the other side and combining them. That’s what I was wondering.
