You just said a minute ago that the EOS well is dry though. If doing a 100% airdrop distribution, wouldn't they be the same holders? The idea is to draw external capital into the eos ecosystem
100% is a binary view.
I think the thing to realize is that not everyone really cares about how EVM is going to be developed, how it gets on exchanges, and how it markets. People may begin to care if they see an upside and are invested in it, but currently people are invested in the EOS token and the upside is somewhat vague.
It's vague because it's still up in the air. Anything said will be taken as a commitment and leave little room to be agile.
Yeah for sure, the “known” benefits of causing EOS token lockup, creating activity on the network (and thus REX holders benefiting), etc etc are known benefits though.
