Thanks for having an interest in being a bandwidth provider on the Orchid Privacy Network! The partners in our default Curator are selling bandwidth on the network at this time, and staking OXT to do so. The node software is on our GitHub repository. Anyone is welcome to install the software, configure it, stake OXT, create a Curator, and begin advertising it. Node software here: https://github.com/OrchidTechnologies/orchid/tree/master/srv-shared If you are interested in being an official Orchid partner, we would like to learn more about you and what you plan to provide to the network. Please take a few moments to fill out this form: https://airtable.com/shrhFkjd1KAmtrKNY This will help the team determine who to onboard next as a partner.

Thanks. I thought anyone can install repo from github and run a node. I'm bit confused with the terminology used here. Partners vs curator vs provider, can you clarify. To run a node, one need to become partner? Any plan to make it as permissionless in future?

Hey 👋 That's correct. The node software is open source, currently available in our repository. As it stands, we are not quite ready yet to provide users with technical assistance on how to run it, and we don't have an official documentation available for users looking to setup a node and sell their bandwidth. When the engineers are satisfied with the node performance, we will get the necessary instructions ready. We have compiled a list of #eli5 items for the community, explaining the different terms we use. It's available as follows:
