Like many members of the community after a certain announcement

today from a former partner about “burning tokens” I can’t help but feel these tokens will somehow end up being dumped on the market at a later date. Is there anything that can be done so the tokens are retuned to unibright rather than kept in the possession of the former partner?

they are definitely stuck in the contract forever. one of the nice things about blockchain is that you can read the contract for yourself. anyone who submits tokens to that contract is permanently taking UBT out of circulation. there's no what-ifs in this instance — that ubt is permanently out of everyone's hands

Those are exactly my fears too. But Andromeda said in unofficial that the obtained ubts cannot be sold, as they cannot be withdrawn. But I don't know how to check that.
