After this whole 20% apy and UST fiasco, can someone
explain to me how we are able to have 14% apy on telos thru REX and how that’s sustainable?

I'm not sure there's reducing REX. They're just balancing it on Native & EVM. That's what i understood from the Tech Talks AMA.

This is how REX is designed today, more TVL Leads to a reduction of APR as the pool of TLOS taken from the reserves is stable. The rewards will be split on EVM and REX Native based on value locked, payout from reserves will be the same and there will be no inflation to finance this. Our clear goal is to give those on EVM a staking opportunity and draw attention to EVM which will support both Omnidex and Zappy as well as others that are building right now. I envision this to have a clear effect on adoption and price. (NFA/DYOR) Single Asset staking is a great Tool for this. sTLOS might lead to a decrease of APR since it also enables borrowing/lending with the receipt token, but i trust that the positive effect for TLOS outweighs the reduction
