be determined? By the amount of validators?
More or less yeah and the value of the staked avax + any additional requirement. If it’s a permissioned then Sybil attacks are quite unlikely though
Then how is subnet link to avax main net in terms of security. For example, DOT uses relay chain. Zk roll up uses eth as the main settlement layer( secure). How is subnet different from side chains which we know are not as secure.
Currently it depends on the bridge used. It’s similar to side chains but with a subset of the validators of the main chain. Subnets are still new so not every function such as a some kind of settlement layer have been released
There is so much talk about how good subnet is. High output and low fees. But the most important of all, there is no mention about security. That's why , how secure subnet is, is probably the one that make or break avax. As we clearly can't just depend on c chain.
Subnet are application specific networks. You don’t need all of them to be secured by tens of billions
Still, security is still of high priority. Doesn't matter if dapp is 10 million tvl or 1billion tvl. Security should still be anchored by the main blockchain. If not, why bother to use subnets if they don't share similar security.
