what is the yearly inflation of rsr? thanks
Of course. I assume you're asking about how you, as an RSR holder, can make your holdings more profitable. If so, it depends on the RToken you stake on, but in a general sense here's the three main ways RTokens can earn revenue (and share that revenue with RSR stakers): 1. Lending collateral tokens 2. Revenue share with collateral token issuers 3. Transaction fees If you would like to know what these three mean exactly, I recommend reading this page on the Reserve website.
thanks for the reply. i am asking how would RSR's operations be sustainable in the long run, How is the team generating revenue. i am not concerned for myself, I am interested to know if RSR is profitable on its own
Just to be clear: are you asking about the profitability of Reserve the company, not the RSR token?
yes thats right
Aha! Interesting. At this point in time the Reserve team has a large cash runway that allows us to build comfortably - even if we'd see a prolonged bear market. Current revenue streams include a fee when users of the Reserve app on-ramp (& potentially off-ramp, not sure) and some others. The intend, however, is to increase revenue streams in the future (certain products are being built for that right now). This actually includes the protocol, as the Reserve team intends to stake (some of) its RSR as an extra revenue stream.
thanks for sharing, ill look more into it. a conservative approach is sweet in a bear market.
