Don't take this as 100% gospel because I'm not an insider - but I doubt TFL and the team will have much, if anything, to do with Classic. Validators will decide for themselves. I hear some will validate for both chains but I suspect the majority won't. If there is to be a future for Classic that means someone getting developers and all that, and coming up with a purpose for LUNC and/or UST, and if the algorithmic mechanism is restored.. it's already failed once, so it's basically trying to repair something that did not work. And then you'd need to have something to spend the tokens on and services to use in the chain. It's clear most of the promising projects are either switching to a non-Terra chain or v2. That is my honest opinion.

I’m my opinion, LUNC has a huge community, way to big for it to be forgotten. As you say, it will require Devs etc. There are, at present Devs working on codes for the implementation of proposal 3568. Please follow @happycatkrypto on Twitter and YouTube. Along with Vegas the proposer of 3568 and @happycatkrypto good head way is being made

Adding to that at current mcap and number of daily transactions it would take decades to burn any meaningful amount of token. Also this is at the current price. If volume for whatever reason goes up this is a different story. I like Luna Classic much better than 2.0 because this is the community part of the project but I guess even if classic survives the price will first have to go much lower before the burns can have any effect. Not sure if UST will be salvagable at any stage. Classic would have to find a way to attract projects that generate a good volume of transaction on a regular basis. p2e and NFT projects come to mind but those 2 sectors are both suffering right now. We all love the "phoenix from the ashes" stories but right now I would not put my life savings into classic.
