APR was quite high anyway, so this is a good change. The foundation decided to move more ERC20 INJ from Ethereum to the Injective Chain and secure the network even further by delegating to the most active validators that are actively participating in governance, have a high uptime and voted in favor of moving the protocol in the right direction

Man, they are not taking anything from anyone. The foundation also has their own allocation, which they can use as they want. They have staked these tokens, instead of just selling them, for example. It's a great gesture
