Guys, I have got some interesting questions. 1. Can godwoken be

shutdown?

2. What would happen if Godwoken is shutdown and all its source code is shredded too? Would the data(from dapp on godwoken) set in CKB still be usefull somehow?

Currently Godwoken utilises a POA consensus mechanism, whereby trusted known validators (known to Nervos) “run” the network. It theoretically could be shut down. But any network is under this condition if it’s validators collude and decide to pull the plug. The beauty on L1 is it’s POW and it’s secured by thousands of individual miners. The second question I not sure I get. Godwoken presently is an EVM chain (GW has capability to run other Virtual machines also but currently focused on the polyjuice/EVM component) so every dApp on there could be redeployed on any EVM network. The “shredded” source code part I don’t get. Open sourced projects are open, available to anyone to develop as they see fit. The code isn’t hidden away from the world on a private server.
