Hope its ok to ask about running a node. I

was thinking to use allnodes but wondering if i could loose my coins if their server dies or something. Is there any risk for me loosing my avax?

What has sharding to do with loosing your deposit? Yes the reward i get but i'm more worried about the collateral really.

I think you mean slashing, not sharding. Avalanche doesn’t have either. There is no slashing, so there is no risk of losing your principal stake for having bad uptime. The only risk for a bad validator is loss of your rewards
