Hello Sa! As you may know, the Oasis Protocol system architecture is divided into two Layers: The consensus Layer and the Paratimes Layer. The ROSE token will be used for transaction fees, staking, and delegation at the Consensus Layer. Also, ROSE probably will be used for transaction fees at most Paratimes built at Oasis Protocol. Each Paratime is a kind of Blockchain on its own, There could be up to 1,000, and each one supports 1,000 Transactions per second. We use billions instead of millions because we will have many transactions and data tokenizing happening in several ecosystems.

very low supply though..

Supply by itself is not really so meaningful. If we moved the decimal place such that there is 100 million rose instead of 10billion and every rose is now worth 1/100th of a rose nothing would really change. It would not make burning any more or less meaningful
