paid to the miners for “storing data” on the chain, and that’s why Secondary Issuance exists.
As a user, why do I need to “store data” on the chain? What kind of data?
Your wallets balances info
Thanks. What else?
If you bridge assets from another chain, it will require some data
All answers provided were accurate and useful. I personally, focus more on developers needing storage space on chain for dApps and any other form of data. As user we do need to occupy storage space for wallets like Neuron, utilizing the DAO, and storing other assets like NFT’s. Although I personally feel that is secondary to what most data occupancy will be. Again, just my opinion
Thank you A couple of follow up questions: 1) When I use NEuron wallet and Nervos DAO, when/ how am I paying the state rent for occupying storage? I do not think any rent is subtracted from my CKB balance 2) If developers build too many dApps on Nervos, wouldn't be then run out of CKB stotage space?
