PS: Please stake your $LUNC with validators with low voting power and low commissions, so as to keep the network decentralized as instructed by the Terra Rebels team.. Thanks 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽🙂

Staking is live! If you don't already have #terrastation, download it below to get started. Remember to choose validators with lower voting power to keep the network decentralised, and leave some LUNC unstaked for transaction fees!

Info on delegating, redelegating and undelegating:

🔒 Delegate
Once you have LUNC on Terra Station, you can 'delegate' it to a validator to secure the network and earn staking rewards. Pick an active validator from the Stake tab and delegate your Luna from here.

🔏 Redelegate
You can switch validators by choosing 'redelegate'. Do this from the page of the validator you want to redelegate to. You will continue accruing rewards as normal. Choose wisely, as you can only redelegate once every 21 days!

🔓 Undelegate
If you want to unstake LUNC and return it to your wallet, choose 'undelegate' on the validator page where it is staked. This will take 21 days to complete and cannot be undone. There are no staking rewards during this time. You can find when your unstaking ends on the app or by checking your wallet address on finder.terra.money.

You can use the command #validators in the chat to learn more about how to choose a validator. It is important to spread out our delegations for a healthy network. Here are some with less voting power (a good thing!) and what they do for the community:

🔹 Setten (provides infrastructure)
🔸 Delight (Terra Station devs)
🔹 Aura stake (provides blockchain analytics)
🔸 Coinhall.org (provides charts and info)
🔹 Terra Bites (provides informative podcasts)
🔸 Danku_zone (provides informational Youtube videos)
🔹 Stakely.io (provides faucets for many blockchains)

Things to consider before selecting a validator: ✅ Validator should have a tick mark after the name. It means the validator is trustworthy. Terra-trusted validators are listed on the official GitHub. ✅ Validator should be able to earn rewards. Only bonded Validators (listed as "Active") can earn rewards. ✅ Validator uptime should be maximum. Uptime refers to how often the validator is gaining rewards. ✅ Validator commission should be low. Validator commission is the percentage of our rewards taken by the validator as commission. ✅ Max Commission Rate and Max Daily Commission Change should be minimum. Validators can't change the commission by more than the "daily commission change" and never above the "max commission rate". ✅ Consider delegating outside the top 10 by voting power. To keep the network decentralised, it is recommended to stake with validators outside the top 10. Useful Links: Terra docs Mistakes to avoid when choosing a validator
