what’s this?
Openstreetmap is the open, free map that practically everyone except for Google uses. (bing/apple/tomtom/etc). And its free to use and free to change. The wiki page describes how to tag your crypto accepting locations on the map. Using something that everyone else in the world uses is likely going to get you more reach.
Google Maps is free if you just want to do basic things like putting custom markers. You pay if you want to do more fancy stuff like finding routes or if you want to query data. For our merchant map, we're not paying anything.
