Hi Paulo, what a great idea. You know I appreciate

a good discussion..😉

I am no tech expert, but even to me it is clear that iExec’s tech stack is unique. Confidential computing has to be the future and iExec has been frontrunner in that field for a long time. So those are all clearly advantages in a competitive market.

I also feel that iExec’s strong French basis, with good French government and EU relationships is a strength. Europe is quickly becoming a super power in crypto, while US seems to be losing ground. https://twitter.com/paddi_hansen/status/1655883224726241281?s=46&t=xXRFcY32PRm2DUCQspzsoA

That said, I do feel that the question of how to motivate users, devs and companies to use iExec is answered by a far greater international push. IExec needs to go international to find the users, devs and companies. And I mean REALLY go international. Open up offices and attend way more international events. And iExec simply needs to put more money on the table to hire the best talent and to find more devs to build the dapps.

If iExec gets the required hires, devs, users and companies, I am convinced that the Marketplace will be a HUGE succes.

Finally, I have said it before but will say it again. The team needs to show focus. This telegram/discord mess is a great example. Are we seriously having the same discussion on two seperate platforms at the same time since iExec can’t seem to decide which one to use? C’mon man!

Looking forward to the Friday weekly update!

Hey Jdr! First of all, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Your suggestions are always to be taken into account. I have already taken note of these to begin the article. Thank you!

devs are the big ones might be worth just hiring full-time devs to work on various apps to populate the marketplace until organic growth within it begins

Yeah exactly my thought. Make a real investment now to get things started. A real investment. When devs see an operational marketplace, the ball is rolling and many will likely follow

I've been saying this for a long time. Bounty system is as good as it gets I guess, but not much came from it yet...
