agreement with the TF/ Fuel team under NDA or available to share?
I understand that there's no avoiding NDA agreements when dealing with big outside companies, but with other blockchain organizations, I don't see the need for keeping everything hidden.
Are the "performance results" mentioned in From Telos bullet 2 defined somewhere? Aside from that have you performed all your listed obligations for Archly?
We have.
What about the "performance results"? Are they detailed anywhere within the agreement?
Nope. We have communicated in many discussions it’s TVL, Volumes, Unique users, Community etc.
How much advance notice are you being given about their proposed reduction in your Fuel participation? Also, is there anything in your agreement about how much notice they are required to give you?
The discussion about growth has already started last month. The reduction decision was taken today after seeing the latest report! We don’t have any terms of notice. All our actions are in adherence with the terms of the agreement.
They are not. But the main points that I can find from our private chat are: 1. % of Arc Locked 2. TVL of LP 3. TVL of Locked AR 4. Total TVL And are the metrics that are tweeted out from Telos for the Archly updates. In general, since the Telos Fuel program was meant to boost TVL, that was the main metric that should be taken as performance.
If this were a very formal agreement where everything is spelled out, I could understand staying within the terms of the agreement. However, from what I've seen, it looks more like a general deal memo without a corresponding long-form contract. Where that is the case, there's an assumption that anything not mentioned likely falls to general business norms. In my experience, it is not a general business norm to change the terms of a deal without notice (30-60 days) when there is no clear failure or breach by the other party. In my humble opinion, the TF should treat this partner with more respect and consideration. I would at least give them 30 days notice and mutually agree a set of KPIs to target by the end of that time to continue the deal. My opinion has no actual bearing, but I hope the TF will re-examine it. This kind of operation will not be good for the Telos reputation among prospective DeFi partners, I fear.
The problem, as I have stated before, is that any written agreements and agreed upon terms (implicit addendums to the written agreement) should be agreed upon. As KP has stated in the gov chat, Archly is onboarding two new projects to the Telos EVM, . And the Telos Fuel teams back tracking on these terms is detrimental to Telos' and Archly's reputation. We negotiated in good faith with the teams under the stringent guidance of the Telos Fuel team. And I called this out to Sukesh as Archly is a growing project and our word is one of our greatest assets. We will always do what's in the best interest of Archly and by extension Telos as it is just the right thing to do.
I want to repeat again, not sure if you understood what we proposed. We are not removing the bribes completely. We are reducing rewards to 2 pools instead of 6 pools. And also we are still committed to supporting new projects Archly is bringing to the ecosystem.
Again this is different than what was agreed to between our written agreement and our agreed upon terms through our private chat.
