Not really!
How so?
Can you elaborate? Obviously, without disclosing any NDA information, can you give the community an idea of what kind of "Agreements!" limit the ability to have elasticity in this area?
Liquidity commitments! And repurposing liquidity, especially in this scenario will only cause more harm than good due to the risk of liquidations and available liquidity to liquidate. The market will naturally correct itself when there is a supply and demand issue.
Sukesh, your answers to my questions were: "Not really!" "Agreements!" "Liquidity commitments!" The liquidity funds you deploy belong to the chain. You're in a habit of not answering to anyone so it seems like you think these are acceptable answers, but they are not. You need to be more transparent. Hiding behind "Agreements!" is not being responsible to the Telos community. Omnidex lending is essentially frozen and you can't or won't explain the thesis behind how you deploy liquidity in these situations.
I think he has clearly said he doesn't have more usdt / usdc that is not already committed elsewhere that could be used for omnidex lending. I agree that there should be better clarity into where / how liquidity is deployed, but I don't think that liquidity should be pulled from other dapps to support one dapp that has liquidity issues. Hopefully the high yields convince people to stake usdt/usdc for lending
Yeah I agree, I think the answers to those questions were pretty self explanatory. Sukesh answered a lot of the less obvious questions above in fair detail for telegram for a Sunday afternoon. Id suggest all questions get submitted to the email provided and the answers can be published on medium with a reasonable level of detail and in an accessible format for everyone to learn more.
I have personally been using OmniDex lending for quite a while, i have deposited some USDT & can't withdraw it, because of no liquidity. I msged TJ to understand how it works & apparently, unless someone who has borrowed USDT doesn't repay, i can't withdraw my USDT, which kinda sucks. I do get handsome Tlos rewards for the lending though. I'm sure you don't want the TF to be in a position where they have kept adding liquidity to OmniDex to make sure it's a fluid market, and some USDT is needed urgently someplace to do a deal (example) and it's stuck on OmniDex.
