I have been holding Atom for years, and I like

what the team is doing with cosmos. I just have one question, which is also a concern.

Are there any plans for the Atom coin to have utility besides governance? It feels as though all this progress doesn't involve the coin itself, for better tokenomics.

Hello Hawk, The latest development, which is Interchain Security, will bring utility around Atom and allows the establishment of Atom Economic Zone. The first consumer chain, Neutron, uses Interchain Security. Atom will be used as fee token and get rewards from consumer chains. The second one will be Stride and many others on the way to join Atom Economic Zone. To be aware of consumer chain onboarding, I strongly recommend you to explore and deep dive into “Add Consumer Chain” forum page. https://forum.cosmos.network/c/hub-proposals/consumer-prop/41
