On telos evm, Multichain tokens contracts are different from Wanchain tokens contracts. All telos evm dexes use Multichain bridged tokens.

None of them are real USDt/c issued by Tether/Circle. The real ones are in custody of the bridge and they individually issue these new tokens. If we were to have the original tokens, we could use the same on every bridge. Now, each bridge will issue its own one and it is upto us what we want to adopt based on credibility, number of chains bridgeable etc. We've mainly adopted multichain, adopting another one for the same token doesn't serve much purpose, gets confusing and difficult to adopt, but it could possibly open up bridging to more/different networks, gives users more choice etc. I'd personally love to have the original ones asap on the chain because you're just a bridge hack away from losing value on these tokens generally.
