1.0.8 on Linux Mint 21.1. I have deleted all of the contents of the /home/.pirate directory and restored my wallet from seed. Upon every restore attempt (and there have been several), the wallet remains stuck at block 2422854. A generic tls transport error appears over and over. I was able to create a new wallet fine, and it syncs up no problem. Is the solution to acknowledge the TLS transpot error message, and then just let the wallet keep syncing?
Reported to admins.
Here is the error message in its entirety: There was an error sending the transaction. The error was: Error getting client: tonic::transport::Error(Transport,hyper::Error(Connect, Custom ( kind: UnexpectedEof, error: tls handshake eof" )))
Any DM's regarding this issue will reported and blocked.
I have attempted to simply ancknowledge the message, but sync stops and I have to close and reopen the wallet for the sync attempt to start again. Any help is appreciated.
Just let the wallet to sync, We had spam txs and it stopped now for anyone have wallet syncing stuck keep the wallet open guys
Ok. Will report findings.
OK, so I have gotten back to the last block I was stuck at. I acknowledged the TLS error and left the wallet open. Will report findings tomorrow as I expect this will take a bit more time.
Update: Acknowledging the error results in the appearance of application hang. No additional blocks were downloaded after several hours. I have restarted the wallet and will let it sit overnight without acknowledging any error messages related to blockchain sync failure.
Update: I let the sync process run for 14 hours at the stuck block. I received the TLS transport error once more, and no more blocks were downloaded afterwards. I have acknowledged the message and will wait another day.
