ENF is getting funded from a "questionably" decentralised BP. They

update codes and shit as far as I know. Same as Telos foundation (?)

ENF contributing to open sourced code may make EOS a security ?

They all contribute to one codebase, Antelope. The BPs of all those networks then run the software to power networks like EOS, Telos, WAX, UX, etc. All those chains commit funding to that common development.

Greymass gets paid via inflation from a bunch of those networks, and we contribute code as well. It’s not like they’re the only ones. There’s no central body exclusively contributing.

one of the biggest differences of the Telos Foundation vs EOS Network Foundation, is how the TF won't go behind the broader communities back to make decisions that effect all token holders. Primarily token minting events. The most recent 68M EOS minting was done behind closed doors, with basically no broad-community awareness and therefore no ability for broad tokens holders to express their voice on the matter. In Telos proposals are put forward that require token holders to vote and pass, before the BPs act. Its an entirely different culture, and approach to token holder engagement and respect. For example this is what that looks like for Telos that just last month minted ~$14M (at the time) of TLOS tokens related to the GameStop partnership and their new chain focus on being a Layer Zero. https://app.telos.net/trails/ballot/tedp.4/1686935169423

I see 174 accounts voted 🤔

It’s small, but in its defense it has the processes in place. EOS has a similar referendum system or could even adopt the “Decide” app from Telos, but like Chris said, the chains are just run differently.

correct, and 61M of the ~285M that were in circulation. Keep in mind though many tokens are on the EVM and in DeFi apps, so they have more friction in voting and I think reduced the turnout of actual tokens voting. Only TLOS held on Native (like here with BP selection) count.

its another AntelopeIO chain (just like EOS) that is in the coalition with EOS, Wax, and the UX Network...basically its own L1 (well they are switching to an L0 concept) with unique changes to governance, BP selection, and how community/token holder engagement works.
